Ink are regularly commissioned to design presentations for the annual AAPT Staff Roadshow. Designs utilise the striking look and feel that Ink created for the internal AAPT Bold Simplicity brand. The internal branding grew from the idea of a tangram, where many images can be made from a small series of shapes. Many messages can be communicated in a simple, striking, uniform style.
In this instance, the client had identified a real need for a rallying cry - one that would acknowledge and celebrate the value of being a challenger brand in a sea of big brand competitors. The brief to Ink was to tell their mighty, challenger brand story in the AAPT tone of voice. The movie needed to acknowledge, encourage and inspire the team. The AAPT Manifesto was the result. Fun, no nonsense and intelligent, it was well-received by staff all around the country. The team responded to the reality, humour and spirit of the messaging delivered as entertainment rather than dogma.
