Mio Stadium & Sports
mio Stadium is the only 24/7 football destination that is all about the Barclays Premier League and mio Sports is the only 24/7 destination that is all about football. It features games from UEFA Champions League, FIFA World Cup qualifiers, French League & International Friendlies etc.
There is a need to have similar elements for both channels, giving viewers the impression that both channels come from one singular network instead of 2.
Using a series of CG models motion tracked to specific action scenes. An x-ray look was developed for the channels, with a focus on Football for both, but taking a different approach for each. Stadium’s ident focuses on the high impact action in football in slow-mo, whilst the Sports ident is cut together in a fast energetic style synonymous with sports. Our aim is to give each execution maximum attitude in order to create an appealing, dynamic and unified brand.
The aim of the rebrand is to freshen up and liven up the channel. Mio Stadium & Sports need to really differentiate themselves from the competitors.
Ink Project’s recommendation for MIO is to take a bold leap in order to stand out from the crowd. Creating a distinctive recognisable brand is key in a highly competitive landscape.
